Shake, Rattle, and Cure!

April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month. When I was diagnosed with PD 5 years ago I was determined I would see a cure within 10 years. Half way there. Like so many things we need to kick its ass! My challenge to you for this “Blue Ribbon” month is to enjoy a chocolate (or whatever flavor makes you crazy) shake. The whatever you spent on the shake (or smoothie) please donate that small amount to our personal Team Fox link. “Shakes” and tremors are often the most known symptom when people think of PD. But trying to suck a thick shake through a straw often reminds me of my symptoms of slow movement, freezing and muscle rigidity. Now, don’t let that stop you from enjoying that shake! Just take one step in becoming more aware of what PD does to millions and donate a shake to help me find a cure. Let’s see if we can make April National Shake month also! Thank you.  – lifeaseric
