Can you pinpoint Peru on a map? If so, very impressive. How about this. Have you ever touched a baby outfit made from Peruvian pima cotton? If not then please let me explain. It’s the softest most luxurious fabric that you’ll wish your own pjs were made of and you can add it to the millions of reasons you’ll want to snuggle up with your little one (like we really need a reason though, am I right?). Keep reading because you’ll have a chance to win a baby outfit of your very own!
Let me introduce you to Kissy Kissy if you’re not already familiar with their brand. Their collection’s signature sweet prints made from soft Peruvian Pima cotton has been a go-to for new moms and gift givers for more than 18 years. Sizes span from preemie to 4T and offer playwear, pajamas, take-me-home, christening, first birthday and other special occasions, and accessories such as blankets, booties, hats, and bibs. The durability is apparent wash after wash as each piece maintains its look and shape. Each Kissy Kissy look is beautiful, high quality and timeless. Something you’re going to want to set aside once your baby (must I say it…gulp…) grows out of it, so that they may cherish it with their own children one day in the far, far, very distant future.
RD’s sailing themed nautical striped outfit (short playsuit and floppy sunhat) is from Kissy Kissy’s ‘Out to Sea’ theme in their Spring 2015 collection. This as well as their other adorable Spring 2015 looks can be viewed at the Kissy Kissy Facebook page. Scroll on through all of the 2015 photos (there are albums showcasing different grouping in the collection and they are all labeled “Spring 2015) until you reach 2014, and then scroll on back up. You’ll find prints ranging from frogs, owls, bunnies, zebras, ladybugs, mermaids, farm and safari animals, to baseball, soccer, football, tugboats, surfing, golf, and sailing, to polka dots, solid color blocked prints, and more! I honestly can’t narrow down my favorites. But since my husband loves to sail I steered (no pun intended) towards an outfit from their Out to Sea theme. As a matter of fact, we hope to sign our 5 year old daughter KC up for sailing lessons soon. She beams with excitement possibly more than her daddy while out sailing on the Bay together. I think one of her top 5 highlights from age 4 for KC may have even been watching multiple 4th of July firework shows at once from our sailboat. So let’s hope RD (now 4 months old) grows up to share the same love as his big sister and daddy. If not, then that’s fine too. But in the meantime he wears this precious little outfit with a tiny sailboat embroidered in the corner, perfect for belly time and durable enough to keep up with him once that turns into crawling. And his floppy hat with a matching embroidered sailboat has been perfect when he tags along on trips to his big sister’s favorite SF parks, our favorite monthly antique faires, and cherished family time spent on the sunny SF beaches.
